1) Meet up at 2pm Kallang MRT station

2) Street/Candid shoot around the following areas:
a) Kallang used car centre
b) Old People’s Association Building
c) Skiing action at Kallang Basin
d) National Stadium

3) Leave Kallang Area by 4pm to have early dinner

4) Be at Flyer by 5pm to have the best spo

5) Main Event will be starting at 7pm.

9am: Head to Palau Ubin SSS n Cycle

12.30pm: Lunchtime!

2pm: Back to Changi; walkabout n discovers the secret within its vicinity (Changi Prison, Museum, Broadwalk, Old Changi Hospital etc…).

Evening: Chill out @ Charlie’s n eat Fish N Chip + Cold Cold Beer.

Saturday (Plan B) For hangover!!!

11am: Check-Out & Head to Changi Village.

12pm: Lunch @ Changi Village Market & eat Nasi Lemak n Wan Tan Mee.

Update (2009-04-14):

• I will check in by abt 2-3pm to ‘lepak’ and perhaps work on my RAW.
• I will bring one bottle of Vodka & one Black Label.
• if someone got transport, we dropby NTUC/Supermarket for soft drinks and other stuff.
• Since we will be shooting late evening, maybe better to eat out and only have late light BBQ back in Chalet, but heavy booze.

My suggestion on Activity;
1) Sunset at either Changi Boardwalk (someone need to guide to location), Punggol end or we can do late evening shoot at Old Changi Hospital.
2) after dinner (if we do have) we go back chalet, freshen up and contnue with night shots of ppl/kids. Or we can have C&C session and booze. Bring your Notebook or at least a Card Reader.

Still open for suggestions.

Update (2009-04-13) :

Bros, managed only to get 1 night at Costa Sands Pasir Ris Chalet. Fully booked for the weekend so we only have Fri/Sat (17/18) and must check out by 1030hrs on Sat.

Its a Duplex (Double Storey) to cater for our sis. Booking Confirmed.

anyone have alternatives for Sat? or we coukld resume our SSS on Sat, Ubin perhaps after lunch at Changi Village than evening we return Changi to booze at Charlie’s.

for this Friday, we plan to shoot Sunset, location TBC (Punngol or Pasir Ris) Relax & Booze at chalet, maybe night shots of the ppl/kids around chalet. Next day …… we discuss after booze as experienced has tought us that need to booze in order to plan.

Okay, we discussed just now and decided to hold a chalet next Friday. The thing is, i got confused with the programme… Too much going to the moon just now. But to my understanding, friday evening would be a sunset phototaking at changi beach… Followed by makan makan/drink session at night(BBQ, happy hour) and then the next morning, we have a morning sunrise phototaking session… So maybe at night, we can go site exploration, etc etc….

Maybe we are going to pulau ubin on saturday afternoon.. Not too sure.. If going to pulau ubin, i wanna drag ryan along..

Okay. Finally after much coaxing from some fellow members, I have decided to post the existence of the blog to the Clubsnap forum. For those who do not know yet. A couple of us (Haslan, Firdaus and me) decided to create this blog as an experiment to see if it is of any use to members of the group. It was mainly prompted by the recent killing and reorganization that the Clubsnap forum moderators did. I realized that we have very little control of our posts there. This includes things like what we can put as sticky threads etc.

So with that in mind I thought of creating a blog that will act as a more permanent home for the group. It will also act as a super-sticky thread that we can keep information at. Please don’t get me wrong, we are not creating the blog as a replacement for the Clubsnap forum threads. It is meant as a complementary to the discussions there.

I am definately looking for people to contribute to this blog. This includes articles, tips, useful information etc. At the moment, I think only emotic and me have admin rights but if you are interested in adding articles, you can either send me the information to post or better yet, create a user and I can add you as an editor or contributor. If you know the wordpress platform and want to contribute to making the blog better, let me know as well.

Hopefully, we can have enough information here that other non-club newbies can come here to find useful information that helped us started with photography.

Finally, I would like to give credit to haslan for his work on the logo header that you see on the blog (as well as the t-shirt) in addition to their feedback as I was creating the site.
